I'd rather not explain the reason why I'm suddenly thinking of it, but.....
Which is better?
-Being yourself, making sure you're always comfortable with yourself, and not making yourself change in ways you don't think you can.
-Being the best person you can be, eliminating your weaknesses at all costs, and not caring if you know that it's not how you naturally should be.

Basically, should you be your best, or should you be yourself?
"You should be your best self" is not an option. There's only one you, the question is if you should change it. The only other way is if you have multiple personalities, and in that case, I can actually demonstrate better: If you have a mental, emotional, social or personality disorder such as a condition that would induce having multiple personalities (I'm not looking up medical terminology here), is it better to seek treatment for it and work around it, or to embrace it as a part of who you are and learn to live with it?

It's been bugging me lately. If you have any thoughts on it, that's great, but if you don't want to answer I understand entirely.
